Special Interest Group meeting on Peroxisome biology Print E-mail

Saturday 10 September, 10:00 to 17:15 - Room 01 LM (Green Level)

During the last few years several groundbreaking findings in the field of peroxisome biology have been reported. These include details on peroxisomal matrix protein import, the formation of the peroxisomal membrane and the role of the ER in this process, the peroxisome fission machinery and the identification of novel roles of peroxisomes such as a function in ageing and pathogen defense. During the Special Interest Group meeting 12 European peroxisome researchers will present their most recent data.
